Artist Spotlight

25-year old Manchester born wordsmith Bugzy Malone is fast developing a reputation as one of the UK's brightest independent Grime talents, and last year won Best Newcomer at the GRM Daily Rated Awards alongside two MOBO nominations. "TuneCore have been a massive support taking my project on, so that I could get on with making my music and getting out there… I’m loving the independence and freedom of doing it 100% my way."

The Hunna have been turning heads since bursting onto the scene at the beginning of the year. With a string of sold out UK, US and European tours behind them, The Hunna will be releasing their debut album '100' this summer (26.08.16), the same weekend as they grace Reading & Leeds festival. 2016 has already been a phenomenal year for The Hunna who have gone from never headlining a show before to seeing their name at the top of the bill at London's Kentish Town Forum on their upcoming UK tour. The Hunna have also been making waves in the US, including sold debut shows in LA and NYC following a deal with 300 ent. This is one for the stories of the year for a new band.

He may wield an acoustic guitar and write achingly beautiful universal truths, but Ciaran Lavery couldn’t be further from the sensitive singer-songwriter archetype. The exciting talent from the tiny village of Aghagallon in County Antrim has his own singular sound, one that assimilates myriad influences from Americana to hip-hop, articulated in a grainy delivery with a deep soul impulse over processed beats and sumptuous strings. Signed to Believe Recordings, he released his second album “Let Bad In“ in May, played at Willie Nelson’s ranch and toured the album around Europe whilst racking up 45 Million plays on Spotify. His Spotify Live session recorded at SXSW 2016 is released this Friday 5th August.
