Vice President, Publishing & SyncChris Dampier is TuneCore’s Vice President of our Publishing and Sync departments. He is a graduate of London College of Music and University of Westminster. Before joining TuneCore, Chris was the Creative Director of Film, TV and Visual Media at Broadcast Music, Inc. With TuneCore, he oversees the Publishing Administration and Sync teams, ensuring that we provide the most efficient and accurate administration of our clients’ songs. Chris and his team also works with Music Supervisors from around the world to actively pitch TuneCore artists for placements in the film, TV, video games and ads. Chris proudly serves on the Independent Publisher Advisory Council for the National Music Publishers Association and is a member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers, Guild of Music Supervisors and a voting member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame
Director, Infrastructure Operations
Jason Allen is TuneCore’s Director of Infrastructure Operations.
He studied Computer Information Science at Niagara University. Before joining the team at TuneCore, he was the Technical Operations and Platform Manager at PBS.
With TuneCore, Jason manages both the DevOps and Internal IT Teams. He leads them in the implementation and delivery of cutting-edge cloud-based infrastructure, security, and development processes behind TuneCore’s product, as well as supporting our internal staff members’ needs.
Already with TuneCore, he is proud of implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans, as well as building out new monitoring and dashboard solutions to keep TuneCore staff aware of our platform’s performance.
Jason grew up singing in choir and chorus, and has been an active DJ in the Washington, D.C. music scene for the past 10 years. He spins all genres, but mainly House, Drum & Bass, Trap & Bass Music, Hip-Hop, and R&B.
Product Director, TuneCore Social
As Product Director, Ali leads the development of the TuneCore Social app. He’s responsible for compiling and analyzing data, strategic planning, setting design standards for user experience, and overseeing application development. Ali attended Seaton Hall and Rutgers Universities, and was previously Product Director at Ampology, LLC. He is also the Founder and Product Director of F2F660 Digital.
Ali has earned three Society of Newspapers design awards as a staff artist and production manager for the New York Times, where he honed his design skills for 17 years.
As a lifelong musician, Ali is excited to bring his skills to the TuneCore team to help improve the lives and careers of independent artists by developing tools designed to help them succeed and earn a living.
Vice President, Human Resources
As VP of Human Resources, Kimberly Kahn plays a critical role in employee relations, performance management, business best practices, recruitment, operational support, and overall shaping TuneCore’s employee culture. She acts as the point of contact for TuneCore’s entire staff across the United States.
Kimberly arrives at TuneCore with almost two decades of experience in human resources. She held Director positions at DoubleVerify and Culture Trip prior to joining the team, managing employee relations, on-boarding, recruitment, benefits and payroll, performance management, and office operations.
As TuneCore grows and continues to build its company culture, Kimberly will play an instrumental role in ensuring our success.
Director, Social Media
As Director of Social Media, Shara Sprecher manages TuneCore’s social media strategy and the content shared across key platforms. She plays an important role in the messaging TuneCore projects digitally, and regularly engages TuneCore Artists directly on our social media channels.
Shara arrives at TuneCore with over seven years of experience as the Director of Social Media for Rolling Stone. While there, she oversaw social strategy for one of the most important and iconic voices in music media, interfacing with well known artists, readers and brands. Shara will use her years of experience in an ever-evolving facet of digital marketing to help TuneCore reach and engage our artists across social.
Shara graduated with a BA in Mass Communications and a minor in Fine Art Photography from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
Chief Executive Officer
With dual academic education in Business Law and Management (Paris School of Management ESCP, Master of Law at Duke University North Carolina), Denis Ladegaillerie passed the New York Bar in 1997. He started his career as Business Lawyer at Shearman & Sterling where he practiced from 1997 to 2000. He joined the financial department of Vivendi at the beginning of 2000 to take care of the restructuring of the portfolio of companies in the internet sector of the group.
He then managed the internet and new media activities for Vivendi Universal in the United States as Chief Strategy and Financial Officer for two years and a half. There, he managed the restructuring and development of the first digital music service (eMusic), the first music social networking site (MP3.com), the leading mobile media distributor (Moviso / Infospace Mobile), as well as Rollingstone.com. In 2005, he returned to France and founded Believe, which is today a leading global digital music distribution and service provider for independent artists and labels with more than 1,200 employees in 44 countries.
Believe is part of the Next40 and recently won the Europe Allstar 2019 Company of the Year and the Grand Prix of France 2020 Future Unicorns.
Vice President, Product Management
Maren leads a diverse team of product managers, develops the product strategy, and manages the product roadmap. Together with her team, Maren acts as a champion for both the customers and the product and collaborates cross-functionally at TuneCore with a focus on optimizing existing features, evolving the user experience and building innovative and engaging products based on customer feedback.
Maren has 25 years of experience leading and building product, localization and UX teams at consumer tech companies, such as AOL, Yahoo, SideStep/Kayak, BabyCenter and WebMD. During her time at AOL, she led the product launches for AOL Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to TuneCore, Maren was the VP of Product and UX at Ask Applications (an IAC company), one of the world’s largest distributors of desktop applications.
Maren earned her B.A. in German Language and Literature with minors in Political Science and Japanese from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She also attended graduate school in Information Systems at American University.
Ace Elijah Burgess
Before joining TuneCore, Ace served as the Associate Director of Application Development Programs at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. In 2017, he founded the Brooklyn-based independent record label, Interline Records and served as president for two years.
As Director of Engineering at TuneCore, Ace manages and oversees the engineering team while helping to facilitate technical implementations and solutions around all of TuneCore’s business components. From customer-facing sites, financial and administrative tooling, to distribution, publishing, and account management, Ace leads his team to work toward optimizing TuneCore’s current products and services.
Ace has worked as a sound engineer for over 10 years at music festivals around the country. As a member of the American Association of Independent Music, he is an accomplished signed songwriter, having written songs for other artists as well as produced a handful of studio albums.
Director, Customer Care
Erica received her Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts Management at the University of Hartford. She joins TuneCore with over five years of support management experience as a User Support Manager at Paperless Post and a Customer Service and Quality Manager at Shapeways. Erica is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, which was awarded to her by the American Society for Quality in “Excellence in Process Improvement/Management”.
In her role at TuneCore, Erica focuses on identifying process and operational efficiency opportunities and leads optimization initiatives to improve the customer experience and increase customer satisfaction. She oversees the Customer Care team and works closely with our Entertainment Relations, Product, Marketing and Tech teams to help bring the best possible service to TuneCore’s community of artists.
Outside of her professional customer support experience, Erica has been a longtime participant and organizer within her local music scenes: playing in several bands, organizing and promoting regional shows, managing tours, running live sound, and stage managing. She brings a passion for music to the TuneCore team.
Director, Integrated Marketing
Erica received her Bachelor’s in Music Business and Masters in Digital Marketing at Full Sail University. Erica has been recognized for her years of experience and efforts within the marketing field through several Cynopsis nominations for digital video content, including Best Viral Video and Best Stand-Alone Short for her work at Music Choice.
In her role at TuneCore, Erica oversees all inbound marketing efforts while coordinating integrating marketing support and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive 360 marketing campaigns. She works day-to-day optimizing email marketing strategizing and implementing new ways to enrich communication with artists and prospects. Additionally, Erica leads the planning and executing of multi-channel marketing campaigns with the goal of delivering a cohesive marketing message and customer experience.
Erica has made impressive strides within her marketing role, including leading the marketing team to overhaul the design and messaging of customer emails and educational content, as well as conceptualizing and launching TuneCore’s Artist Milestone campaign.
Apostolos “Paul” Zachopoulos, CPA
Paul Zachopoulos serves as the Controller of TuneCore’s Finance Department.
Paul has earned a BS from Bowling Green State University and an MS from Cleveland State University, both in Accounting. He also holds a New York State CPA license. Before joining TuneCore, he was the Director of Client Services at NJD Solutions.
His work with TuneCore is comprised of many different facets that involve all of our departments. Compiling, and clearly articulating, information from the high volume of transactions that TuneCore receives every day is only the beginning of his responsibilities. He does everything from managing the Finance team’s day-to-day, to finding ways to make the department, and TuneCore, function more efficiently.
Paul also brings personal music experience to TuneCore. He pursued a career in the industry out of college and is thrilled to come full circle and be on the other side of the business spectrum.
Vice President, Technology
Neil Bhay serves as TuneCore’s Vice President of Technology.
Neil holds a MS in Information Systems from NYU and a BA in Economics from Brandeis University. He joins TuneCore with 19 years of project and technical leadership experience in a variety of start-ups and established corporations. Most recently, Neil was Vice President of Technology at Viacom. There, he oversaw Viacom’s technology vision for web and native solutions, streaming episodic video content, and live award-presentation events (watched by millions) for well-known brands including MTV, Comedy Central, VH1.
Heading up innovation and the initiatives of our Technology Team, Neil is excited to bring to Tunecore his passion for delivering technology solutions that work best for the individuals using them.
He also has first-hand experience as a musician. He plays in an acoustic grunge band, which performs live in the vibrant New York City music scene.
Chief Financial Officer
With a double MBA in Financial Management and Information Systems from Pace University and a BS in Business Communications and Management from Adelphi University, Matt joined TuneCore in 2010. Before that, he served as the Financial Systems Manager for TBWA (an Omnicom company). There he developed and implemented the strategic plan for TBWA’s North America Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation. Previously, he held a similar position with Agency.com, the industry leader in interactive marketing.
Matt is responsible for overseeing TuneCore’s strategy, planning, and management of TuneCore’s Finance and Accounting, Data departments. From assessing financial performance to ensuring functional data needs of the company, Matt is proud of the work that he has done that’s given TuneCore recognition as the trusted place for artists to earn money from their music.
Matt is also quite the music lover himself. It’s not unusual to hear heavy metal music blasting out from his office.
Director, Content & Rights Operations
Sean Daley is the Director of Content & Rights Operations at TuneCore.
After receiving his BA in Rhetoric & Popular Music from SUNY Binghamton, Sean joined the TuneCore team in 2010 as an Artist Support Specialist. Sean rose through the ranks of the Operations team, moving up to the Lead Agent of Artist Support, then Manager of Customer Care, Manager of Operations, Director of Operations, and now Director of Content & Rights Operations.
As Director of Content & Rights Operations, Sean strives to provide current and prospective customers best-in-class service by making sure TuneCore is delivering content to stores that adhere to their strict formatting, style, and delivery guidelines. He also oversees the Content Review, Video Rights Management, and Fraud Prevention teams.
Sean takes pride in representing TuneCore’s customer base when it comes to working across the different departments of the company (Product, Technology, Entertainment Relations, Marketing, etc.) to make sure we’re launching the best products and services we can for our artists.
Sean performed in Punk and Hardcore bands throughout high school and college.
Chief Marketing Officer
Andreea received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Pace University. Prior to joining TuneCore, Andreea had a successful 11-year career at Lord & Taylor, most recently serving as Divisional Vice President of Marketing where she led the omni-channel marketing strategy for the entire department store chain. During her time at Lord & Taylor and its sister store, Hudson’s Bay Company, Andreea also held multiple leadership roles within the eCommerce team, where she drove the digital strategy and grew the Lord & Taylor and Hudson’s Bay sites from the ground up, surpassing the sales volumes of the flagship stores for both chains.
Andreea joined TuneCore as VP of Marketing and Product in 2015 and became the Chief Marketing Officer in March 2016. In her role, Andreea is responsible for TuneCore’s global multi-channel marketing initiatives, focused on customer growth and retention, overseeing all marketing and customer care including acquisition (SEM, Display, Affiliates, and SEO), retention (email, social media, and site content/blog) marketing analysis (CRM and analytics), branding (creative, public relations, and events) and customer care.
Andreea is proud of her continued work in supporting artists and giving them the education and tools they need to be independently successful. She has greatly expanded educational resources through projects like our regular Music Made Me podcast, blogs from industry experts, and an expanding catalogue of educational materials like guides and tutorial videos.
Vice President, Entertainment Relations
As a music industry veteran, Shelby Kennedy continues to utilize his passion for developing music creators. During his tenure at Lyric Street Records, Kennedy’s involvement with SheDaisy and Rascal Flatts firmly established the label. He also introduced Alan Jackson to then bourgeoning label Arista Nashville. In the recording studio, he works from both sides of the glass as a producer and a background vocalist. As a writer, Kennedy’s first cut was recorded by Ray Charles, and he counts Reba McEntire’s “I’m A Survivor” among his favorite triumphs. Graduating from Belmont University in 1985, he received the inaugural Mike Curb School of Music Business Award of Excellence in 1996. He is a rare executive to have served writer and publisher relations for both ASCAP and BMI. He has been an adjunct professor for the Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business at Belmont University and has served on Nashville’s Board of Governors for the Recording Academy as well as the Board of Directors for NSAI. He hails from a musical family: his mother sang on The Louisiana Hayride; his father is legendary producer and Hall of Fame musician Jerry Kennedy; his brothers, Gordon and Bryan, are award winning songwriters; his wife, Sheri formerly served sales and marketing at Capitol Records in Nashville and their son, Gavin is an instrumental artist/composer. Kennedy currently serves as Vice President, Entertainment Relations for TuneCore where he cultivates relationships to serve today’s music creators in areas of digital distribution, publishing administration, and other career-building services.

Content Review & Rights Administration Specialists review new releases for proper formatting and quality, work to ensure that rights are properly administered for TuneCore content, and administer sound recording rights in YouTube’s Content ID system.

NATHAN BARLEY PHILLIPS
Country Manager, Entertainment Relations
Prior to his recent appointment at Believe Music as Country Manager, Entertainment Relations Manager, Nathan Barley Phillips formed Basick Records in 2005 and set about the task of developing a forward thinking record label for heavy music. Releasing early material from emerging UK bands such as Enter Shikari and Fellsilent, the BASICK label soon became synonymous with the cutting edge of heavy genres, going on to release music from Misery Signals, Bury Tomorrow, SikTh, Skyharbor, Devil Sold His Soul and Napoleon among many others.
Now a fully-fledged international record label nominated three times in a row for a Metal Hammer Golden God Award, BASICK continues to be one of the forerunners in its field.
On top of his day to day duties with TuneCore, Barley also holds a seat on the board at the Association Of Independent Music (AIM); a trade body organisation based in the UK that represents over 800 music companies, from some of the largest and most respected independent record labels in the world, to small start-ups and individual artists releasing their own music for the very first time.

Director, Entertainment Relations
Amy Lombardi leads TuneCore’s office in Austin, TX working closely with artists and music industry professionals while increasing the brand's presence throughout Texas.
Amy began her music industry career in NYC at A&M Records. She joined the Artist Relations department at Warner Bros. Records before settling into a publicist role for the label, working with R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen and Seal. At Nasty Little Man PR, Amy was a publicist for Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Neko Case and Beastie Boys, among others.
Additionally, Amy founded the boutique PR firm, Call Girl PR, in Chicago where she created and executed breakout PR campaigns for The New Pornographers, Alejandro Escovedo and Neko Case, and introduced new audiences to seminal artists such as Wire, Jon Langford (Mekons), Jandek and Jimmy Martin. Around the same time, Amy also founded and led the talent management firm Beekeeper Corp., home to three-time Grammy-nominee Neko Case, singer Kelly Hogan, singer/songwriter Cass McCombs, indie dance trio My Gold Mask and Americana duo, Escondido.
Amy serves as Marketing Chair on the Austin Music Foundation board, member of Austin Community College’s Music Business, Performance + Technology Advisory Committee and Advisory Board member for both Black Fret and House of Songs.
Manager, Entertainment Relations
As Manager, Entertainment Relations at TuneCore, Joncier is responsible for establishing and nurturing client relations throughout the Atlanta region, an obligation befitting of her down-to-earth and funny personality.
Joncier attended Ithaca College, obtaining her undergraduate degree in Creative Writing and Journalism. While earning her Bachelor of Arts, her taste grew for pursuing a career in the music business. Her appetite began with Radio Broadcasting and she worked as On-Air Talent for the institution’s station, 92 WICB-FM. By the time she graduated, she had ascended to the position of Urban Director for the station. After graduation, she held on-air positions for a few Internet radio stations in New York City, before working for ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). She began as Receptionist for the Membership Department in 2007, where she put her writing skills to use, eventually becoming editor of online/print content for the Rhythm & Soul Department. In 2010, she was promoted to Membership Representative for the Rhythm & Soul Department, servicing members within the southeast U.S. region. In 2015, Joncier was promoted again to Associate Director for the Rhythm & Soul Department and was tasked with overseeing the Gospel division – a special responsibility given due to her personal attention on the market. Following a successful 9-year tenure at ASCAP, in 2016, Joncier transitioned to TuneCore.
Joncier met former pro basketball player, Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal in Guitar Center and he gifted her with her first DJ controller.
New Orleans, LA
Director, Entertainment Relations
Erin Frankenheimer is a graduate of Tulane University with dual degrees in English and Communications. She worked for Entercom New Orleans after graduating and co-created and launched a late night show, "The Conduit," focusing on new music discovery. She then spent a year as an A&R representative for Columbia Records, later returning to Entercom New Orleans, where she produced and hosted her own new music radio show on B97-FM, "Face the Music." In addition to hosting/producing a radio show, and managing musicians, Erin also worked as the Director of Youth Programs for The Tipitina's Foundation before returning to Los Angeles in 2010. There she assumed the role of VP of A&R at Amazing Radio, A UK based radio station that features new and emerging artists, until 2014 when she took a job with Live Nation in New Orleans as the Marketing Manager for Louisiana & Mississippi. Frankenheimer is now the Entertainment Relations Director for Tunecore's New Orleans office.
Country Manager, Entertainment Relations
As the Country Manager for France, Basile Beaugendre works closely with local artists and the independent music community to support and grow TuneCore’s brand awareness throughout the country.
Basile received his Master’s degree in Business with a major in Media & Communication from The Catholic University of Lille. Prior to joining TuneCore, Basile had a successful career as a Talent Manager at the artist agency Unity Group, and as a partner at Unity Publishing. He has worked closely with European acts such as Lost Frequencies, Klingande, and Broken Back.
Basile possesses a deep understanding of artists' needs, and has extensive 360-degree experience collaborating with international DJs, producers and live acts at every step of an artist’s career. In this capacity he’s been involved with everything from worldwide touring, management, distribution, publishing, social media, and branding.
Country Manager, Entertainment Relations
As Country Manager for TuneCore’s Entertainment Relations team based in Hamburg, Colin comes with previous experience as the Manager of Streaming at Warner Music Group Germany. Working in the digital sales department, Colin was responsible for streaming operations across platforms like Deezer, YouTube, Tidal, Napster, Google Play and Qobuz. Colin has also freelanced as a broadcast journalist and sits on the Music Board of 1LIVE in Cologne, reviewing albums, interviewing artists and producing features and editorial pieces.
Colin has earned a Master of Science from Northeastern University in Music Industry Leadership, as well as a Master of Arts in North American Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and Sound Studies from University of Bonn.
Dedicated to reaching and connecting with Germany’s independent music community, Colin is establishing events and networking sessions throughout the country to ensure that artists can earn a living from their music. Colin is an avid piano player and even dabbles in hip hop.
Country Manager, Entertainment Relations
As Country Manager for TuneCore’s Entertainment Relations team based in Rome, Italy, Fabrizio brings a breadth of music industry experience and local knowledge. As a booking agent at VIRGO MUSIC MGMT for over five years, he’s worked to help support the careers of some Italy’s largest hip hop and EDM artists.
Fabrizio was also able to tour as a road manager with artists from his roster during European stretches, getting first-hand experience in the technical and logistical sides of touring.
On top of providing artists with smooth and hassle-free gigging experiences, Fabrizio himself toured throughout Europe as a DJ, playing in large venues throughout countries such as Italy and Croatia over the course of four years. His studio-building and production skills allowed him to grow as a DJ and gain invaluable experience.
Los Angeles, CA
Manager, Entertainment Relations
Mike Savage is the Manager of Entertainment Relations at TuneCore. For 13 years, Mike ran his own artist management company, Mike Savage Artist Management. During this period, he secured recording contracts, booked world tours, negotiated licensing deals, and led the development of creative marketing strategies that garnered over 200 million song streams and 100k album sales.
He started his career as a music programmer and on-air talent at radio stations in major markets including New York, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
As Manager of Entertainment Relations based in our L.A. office, Mike represents TuneCore with the goal of building brand awareness within the local music scene while offering professional guidance to emerging and established artists and their representatives.
Mike has been fully immersed in the music industry for over 25 years. In addition to his career achievements, he serves as a frequent guest speaker on music industry conference panels and business schools, including UCLA, Boston University and Musicians Institute (among others).
